Common FAQ When Ordering Custom Crystal Awards and Trophies

How should I prepare artwork for my crystal awards and trophies?
To expedite your order, please submit sharp black and white vector artwork only. Color, grayscale, and halftones are not permitted. Raster images are not acceptable.
Acceptable formats include Illustrator CC and below, or Corel X7 and below. JPEG or PDF files may be accepted on a per-order basis, but may require an artwork conversion charge.

If the artwork is not acceptable, your order will be placed on hold until revised artwork is provided. We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to artwork, text, and logos to ensure they are suitable for engraving.

You will receive a digital pre-production proof of your artwork for approval before production. Submitted artwork and logos are assumed to comply with trademark and copyright laws.

Is there a charge for etching or engraving?
Personalized engraving is free on all web orders. Our free setup includes a basic layout with your provided artwork. Additional charges may apply for complex custom projects or multiple logos.

Is there a charge for sending proofs?
No. Proofs are provided free of charge within one business day, or sooner, after your order is placed.

How long will it take to produce my custom trophies?
Please see our Production and Delivery Time page for details. Many orders ship within 1 business day after proof approval, depending on the product selected.

How will my order be shipped?
Orders are shipped UPS prepaid, with shipping charges added to the invoice. All shipments are F.O.B. St. Louis, Missouri.

Can you drop ship my personalized trophies?
Yes. We can drop ship directly to your specified location. Preprinted shipping labels must be supplied and a fee of $9 per package destination will apply.

What should I do if my crystal awards and trophies are damaged?
Breakage claims must be filed with the carrier within 2 days of receipt. All cartons and packaging must be saved for inspection. Title to goods transfers to the buyer at the F.O.B. point.

Returns and Refund Policy

Inspection Requirement
All orders must be inspected upon delivery. Any concerns regarding damage or error must be reported within 48 hours of receipt to be eligible for review.

Custom Trophies and Awards
Etched and printed awards: Cannot be returned.
Blank pieces: Must be returned within 10 days of your return authorization request. Returns are credited at full price, less a 20 percent restocking fee and shipping costs.
Random showroom samples: Must be returned within 30 days for a full credit, less shipping costs.

Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled for a full refund if canceled by 5:00 pm CST on the same business day the order is placed.
All refunds are subject to a 4 percent minimum transaction fee charged by our credit card processor.
Orders placed with a purchase order (PO) that are in production or completed may or may not be eligible for a refund. Please contact customer service for review.
If canceled within 24 hours, a 15 percent restocking or pre-build fee may apply, as all orders are hand-built and products are pulled within 3 hours of entry.
Orders cannot be canceled once proofs have been sent or production has started, unless prior authorization is received.

How do you handle trademarks and copyright?
Customers are fully responsible for correct use of trademarks. ASAP Awards reserves the right to photograph or display items produced as samples without liability for trademark or artwork rights.
Most logos shown on our site belong to our customers and are used for display purposes only. Endorsement of any products should not be implied.
All product photographs and website content are the sole property and copyright of ASAP Inc. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

How is payment handled?
All orders must be paid in full at the time of order unless you have an open account with ASAP Awards, Inc.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Alternate payment methods may be available by contacting our finance department.
No items will ship until full payment is received.

Are the crystal awards and trophies flawless?
Crystal manufacturing may include natural variations such as paddle marks, bubbles, or pour lines. These are not considered defects. Many items are handmade and may vary slightly from piece to piece.

Terms and Conditions
Artwork approval is the most critical step. Customers must carefully review all layout, sizing, and spelling. Once artwork is approved, liability shifts to the customer.
Once a custom order is accepted, it cannot be canceled or returned.
